PlantEvo discussion club

A regular weekly discussion club focused on sharing progress in projects of students and postdocs associated with the team of Ecological genomics and the Lab Allience. We lively discuss diverse topics in plant evolutionary biology and genetics such as polyploid evolution, plant speciation and parallel adaptation. We keep very informal atmosphere that facilitates sharing excitement in addressing scientific questions and provide constructive  feedback.

Lab retreats

Twice a year we go for lab retreats spontaneously combining writing and research feedback discussion with naturalist-/ outdoors- / sport-ish events. One of these retreats is traditionally held jointly with labs of Levi Yant (U Nottingham, UK) and Polina Novikova (Max Planck Institute, Cologne, DE), being focused on discussions about Arabidopsis genomics and polyploidy. The other one is primarily focused on joint manuscript writing and group feedback.
